What We Do

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

PLS provides ABA therapy to children and adolescents with autism. Each program is individually designed around the client’s and family’s specific needs, with goals based on direct assessment by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Every ABA program is unique; our BCBAs ensure that every client’s program is tailored to their specific learning goals and needs.

 ABA Programs

Programs are offered primarily in our clinic setting in Merrimack, NH.  However, we do also serve clients and families in home, school, and other community settings depending on individual goals.  Programs vary in length and intensity, running anywhere from 6 to 40 hours per week. We believe that every moment is a teachable moment: under the direct supervision of our BCBAs, Behavior Technicians use a combination of discrete trial and natural environment teaching so that your child is constantly learning, whether he is learning language during a table session, increasing social skills with peers while engaged in a game or craft, or gaining independence during a toileting routine.

Behavior Consultations

For families without health insurance coverage for ABA, a full-time program may not be financially feasible. At PLS, we are committed to bringing these important services to families in a way that is financially manageable while still being effective. We offer behavior consultation packages where a Behavior Specialist meets with parents and caregivers for a set number of structured sessions, training them to use ABA in their daily routines.
