What We Do

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

PLS provides in-home ABA therapy to children and adolescents with autism. The in-home program is individually designed around the client’s and family’s specific needs, with goals based on direct assessment by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Every in-home ABA program is unique; our BCBAs ensure that every client’s program is tailored to their specific learning goals and needs.

Home-Based ABA Programs

Home-based programs vary in length and intensity, running anywhere from 6 to 40 hours per week. If that sounds intrusive or intimidating, don’t worry. Our BCBAs and Behavior Technicians (BTs) work hard to embed the program into the routines of your home, so that you and your child are learning and growing while also getting on with your lives. We believe that every moment is a teachable moment: BTs use a combination of discrete trial and natural environment teaching so that your child is constantly learning, whether he is learning language during a table session, or gaining independence during a showering routine.

Behavior Consultations

For families without health insurance coverage for ABA, a full-time program may not be financially feasible. At PLS, we are committed to bringing these important services to families in a way that is financially manageable while still being effective. We offer behavior consultation packages where a Behavior Specialist meets with parents and caregivers for a set number of structured sessions, training them to use ABA in their daily routines.
